This was a deal that was booked online via Groupon which included a Main course, drink and a bet at one of the tables for the price it seemed like a good deal and as we were staying in Bristol and had both been to Gentings before we both thought lets do it what could possibly go wrong? Upon entrance there was a reception that wouldn't look out of place in a mini-cab office from the seventies the lift didn't work so up the stairs we went to the first floor to a room that contained slot machines with nobody else in there except a woman playing on one of the slots that looked like she had gone ten rounds with Mike Tyson, we then proceeded to make our way to the top floor where all the tables are, all I've got to say at this point that my hopes of this area being quite salubrious we're starting to fade if I'm honest, well we were met by a friendly member of staff who showed us to the bar which turned out to be the size of one of those ones people used to have in their houses years ago and when I asked where the restaurant was she laughed and pointed to a couple of tables with mismatching chairs around the bar area which looked more like Xmas when unannounced family turns up and all the mismatching chairs get dragged out of places you didn't know existed! As for the food well it was a Burger of some sorts the kind you would buy from a supermarket that you heat up in the microwave, put that in comparison to Mcdonalds it would make you feel like you'd had a Michelin star meal! My advice is if you were looking for a Casino experience to remember then watch Daniel Craig in Casino Royale or alternatively save up and go to Vegas!!
